Narratives are critical, high-value, and long-lasting investments.
My name is Ritika. I’m a narrative experience architect with a cross-functional background across communications, marketing, analytics, product, UX, sales, and engineering teams. I’m trained as a writer, information designer, and data scientist. Through my 15+ year career, I’ve learned that no matter what team I’m on, it’s the brand story experience that paves the road to a successful initiative. So, my process always begins with writing & storyboarding to blueprint out the flows of information…
This concepting stage is important but often overlooked. It can make or break the success of a message, especially in contexts like crisis management, product announcements, employee on-hands meetings, events, etc. And then there’s the whole media relations jungle…
I work hand-in-hand with you as a thought partner, to align your messaging to your traction goals and help your narrative plane take flight. In addition to running my own consultancy, I also partner with fellow business owners and larger agencies when there’s a need for more hands on deck!
Exceptional narratives aren’t a coincidence.
There’s always a story behind the story. The best narratives come from details that aren’t always obvious. In today’s creative landscape, we have an abundance of powerful tools to navigate ever-changing audience expectations. Why not build something truly awesome, that leave us with incredible memories?
My process
Step 1: Research
I start by analyzing patterns, sometimes with the help of a natural language processing (NLP) algorithm that I co-invented with my husband. My goal here is to establish structure from many different signals & inputs.
Step 2: Stakeholder Collab.
At this point, the strategic narrative begins to take shape. It’s a good point for feedback.
Step 3: Creative Execution
Now is the time for building and layering in our strategic multimedia elements.
Step 4: Refine
Where we began with an open-ended approach, now is the time for perfection-driven improvement.
Step 5: Measure
If it’s not measurable, it didn’t happen. Here’s where my data engineering background enters the picture. I’ll help you implement systems to report upon your KPIs and progress.
Step 6: Iterate
Remember that progress happens through persistence. We’ll do a retro to further solidify your move-forward plan.
