Cyclomedia helps local governments and utilities companies monitor their assets, respond to natural disasters, and stay on top of preventative maintenance. The solution can be challenging for some local governments to afford due to budget cuts and other regional financial stressors. I led a team that developed a series of product marketing resources to help local government agencies pool resources to pay for the technology.

Two weeks after California announced a lockdown due to COVID-19, this enterprise cloud company needed to change the course of their internal communications. The pandemic followed multiple major HR shifts including layoffs and a global restructuring. I quickly assembled a team in response. We conceptualized and implemented a quick-response developed a cultural resilience strategy, crisis response framework, and internal communications system to help the organization adapt.

This Silicon Valley venture capital firm has been producing an annual security report for more than a decade. However, the report has not received the attention or recognition that it deserves in its years of production. Storyhackers worked with the firm, its partners, its chief marketing officer, its PR agency, and the report creators to improve upon the storyline and distribution strategy. The report received attention in multiple Tier 1 media sources within two weeks of its launch.

Trulioo worked with me from the days of their first fundraise to their Series D raise, which brought in new leadership for the company. A team that I built, led, and managed developed the company’s first customer stories and helped to crystalize the founder vision into the organization’s long-term product/marketing direction. Most recently, we implemented a communication and storytelling framework within the in-house team to support immediate-term growth initiatives pertaining to the company’s KYC and identity verification solution.

Justrite Safety Group, a portfolio of 5 companies, is one of the largest manufacturers of construction safety equipment in North America. The company needed to rapidly digitize 5,000 SKUs while also developing a strategy for articulating the unique value of its products compared to do-it-yourself approaches. I built a scalable operations strategy that enabled the implementation of AI to provide relevant market education materials.

Optimizely has made a name for itself as the most comprehensive experience optimization solution on the market. Following a Series B fundraise, the company was under pressure to grow aggressively. I built and managed a team that supported the company’s market expansion plan, conducting research to uncover sources of friction for business growth. Based on this research, we developed an educational content library to help Optimizely sell its solution up-market.
